I am often asked which part of France is my favourite and I find this a very difficult question to answer! I love so many cities in France for different reasons. I am a Destination Wedding Photographer in France. (I do travel across Europe when asked!) So you can imagine I have seen a lot of the country.
I am delighted to share this gorgeous glamorous intimate Paris Elopement from the beginning of March. D & G chose an intimate Paris wedding with their closest friends and decided to make a lovely trip out of the occasion. I love all weddings big and small but I do love the small intimate ones so much!
Ingredients: (yes a mix of measurements as I have adapted this recipe over the years and used it in different countries)
100 grams (3.5 oz) of dark chocolate (powder or melted chocolate I have used)
85 grams (3/4 stick) butter at room temp (the best butter you can find)

The loveliness of Paris seems somehow sadly gay
The glory that was Rome is of another day
I’ve been terribly alone and forgotten in Manhattan
I’m going home to my city by the Bay
Paris is a destination like no other! There is so much history at every corner, amazing gorgeous buildings, and beautiful dreamy light. Romance really is in the air! You are not making a bad choice having your wedding, engagement or pre-wedding session in Paris.
Versailles is the home to one of the most famous palaces in the world. It’s a great little town in it’s own right but of course the palace and it’s gardens are the biggest attraction!
Château de Versailles is just one of the most magical places on earth! You have your pick of several historical homes and the most amazing array of gardens and fountains in one location and they even have a lake! It is a must see for anyone coming to Paris.
Isn’t he handsome? This is my great-grandfather Jean. I wish I had the chance to meet him but he died long before I was born. I have been able to meet him through the power of photography. My grandmother treasured old papers and photographs. Growing up photographs adorned our walls. Sadly much has gone missing over the years which is terrible as you just can’t get these memories back.
Shoes! What woman doesn’t like a pretty pair of shoes? I don’t know when it happened but “the shoe shot” is now standard in wedding albums. Sometimes even more than 1 photograph. So now brides are more aware than ever of their choice of footwear. I am a shoe addict myself so pretty shoes always make me swoon so I thought it would be useful to post some top tips about shoes for your big day!
